Who We Are
SoulessCheaters Network ("we", "us", "our") operates various tools and software for our Discord server, including our custom Discord bot, to provide staff management, verification, and economy/game features. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can request it be deleted. Our bot is built with the Discord API and is bound by Discord's own Privacy Policy and Developer Terms in addition to this policy.
What We Collect
We collect only what's needed to run the bot's features. What we collect depends on how you interact with it:
Account & membership data (all users)
Your Discord user ID, server roles, and join/leave events — used to run staff, verification, and economy features.
Verification
Account signals checked at join time to detect duplicate or banned accounts (anti-alt protection). The verification outcome is retained against your Discord ID; the underlying signals are used only for this comparison.
Games & economy
Virtual currency balances and game history tied to your Discord ID — used for the bot's casino and economy games (Blackjack, Slots, Roulette, Coinflip, Higher-or-Lower, Poker, Uno) and leaderboards.
Staff records
Promotion and infraction history tied to your Discord ID, visible only to server staff, used to maintain the staff rank hierarchy.
Presence status
Your online/idle/do-not-disturb/offline status is read live to display alongside your name in the voice-channel control panel. It is not stored — only shown in the moment.
Message content
The bot reads message text only to process commands and validate game input (e.g. a Wordle guess, a chess move, a Black Tea word submission). Message content is never stored or logged, and is never used to train AI or machine learning models.
Fan Love account connections (optional)
Our Fan Love page lets you optionally connect a Discord and/or Google (YouTube) account to earn a "Verified Supporter" badge on your message. If you connect an account:
- Discord: we read your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and whether you're a member of our server. We use this only to display your name/avatar on your message and to check server membership for the badge.
- Google / YouTube: using the read-only scope
youtube.readonly, we check only whether you are currently subscribed to our specific YouTube channel — nothing more. We do not view, store, or have access to your subscription list, watch history, uploaded videos, comments, or any other YouTube or Google account data, and we cannot post, modify, or delete anything on your behalf.
For both, we store only the outcome of that one-time check (e.g. "server member: yes/no", "subscriber: yes/no") alongside your submission — not a live or ongoing connection to your account, and not the raw data used to determine it. Connecting is entirely optional; you can still leave a message without connecting anything, and you can disconnect an account at any time from the Fan Love connection page, or revoke our access directly from your Google Account permissions page. Our use of Google user data via this feature adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
For fans who submit a message without connecting an account, we store a one-way hashed version of your IP address (not the IP itself) solely to prevent the same person from submitting multiple times.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect or store your name, email address, physical location, or raw IP address.
- We do not log or retain message content.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.
- We do not use API data obtained through Discord to train AI or machine learning models.
How We Use Your Data
- Verification: To determine whether a user joining a Discord server is a legitimate account or a known duplicate/alt.
- Games & economy: To track balances, game history, and leaderboards within your server.
- Staff management: To maintain promotion and infraction history for the staff rank hierarchy.
- Voice-channel tools: To display your live presence status in the voice-channel control panel.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside the bot's stated features.
Storage & Retention
Economy, staff, and verification data are stored in a database on our own hosting infrastructure — not shared with or processed by any third party. Data is retained for as long as you remain reachable by the bot (i.e. a member of a server it operates in) or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.
Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is only accessible to the bot's operators and, where relevant to their role, server staff.
Data Security
Stored data is encrypted at rest, and access to the underlying database is restricted to the bot's operators. We take reasonable steps to protect stored data from unauthorized access, but no system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You can request the following at any time by opening a support ticket in our server:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your data (economy balance, staff records, verification history).
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
We'll confirm once your request has been completed.
Children's Privacy
In line with Discord's own Terms of Service, the bot is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from users below this age. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us for removal.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the bot's features change. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
